The Florida Keys are a network of tropical islands, 120 miles long, located in the U.S. State of Florida, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. There are lots of activities you can arrange to explore this beautiful world on your own with your family: boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.
Some of the islands in the Keys are Key Largo, Little Torch Key, Sugarloaf Key, Sunset Key, Cudjoe Key, Sigsbee Park, Shark Key, Boca Chita Key, Park Key, Long Key, etc., all located in the Florida Straits.

The weather in the Keys is different from that of other parts of Florida. From June to October, it is hot, wet, and humid. And from November to May, the Keys would be drier and cooler. There are 1700 islands you can choose to visit from vacation to vacation, at the farthest southeast portion of the US, near the uninhabited Dry Tortugas.
This is a place, right in the middle of the United States, where you can feel and enjoy Caribbean weather, distinct from the rest of Florida. There are upland forests, inland wetlands, and shoreline zones, with many unique plants and animals. Because the climate is mostly subtropical, the Keys are the only frost-free region in Florida.

You will be able to drink plenty of coconut water and eat plenty of papaya and other fruits here because they are abundant. It’s been introduced and planted everywhere in the Keys from the outside. And there are many plants and animals here that cannot be found elsewhere in America. Examples are the Florida Key deer and certain species of Florida crocodiles.
The Dry Tortugas, mentioned earlier and located on the western side of the Keys, are home to Dry Tortugas National Park, one of the most isolated and well-preserved national parks in the world.
Why not visit any of the Key islands in your next vacation and enjoy the beautiful Caribbean weather and special sightseeing uncommon to other parts of America? There are also many very nice, affordable hotels in the Keys where one can stay for as little as $44 per night. You can contact me via email, and I can help you find such hotels at no cost.
