As modern as America is, naturalness is not lacking across all the cities of the United States of America. You can feel the wildlife, the Aboriginal flora and fauna, across all the major cities of America. Irrespective of how big, cutting-edge, and modern that city is. But certain States have an advantage over others when it comes to spectacular places to visit and spend quality time with their families. Florida is one of the states with many such scenic places.
A Wikipedia writer stipulated that the State of Florida in the United States of America has “a total of 4510 islands that are ten acres or larger. This is the second-highest number of islands of any state; only Alaska has more. Major island chains include the Florida Keys, the Ten Thousand Islands, the Sea Islands, and the barrier islands of the Intracoastal Waterway.”
Thus, there are many of them to choose from for a visit. Nonetheless, islands that remain completely natural are unique and rare. Caladesi Island is one of such islands in the State of Florida. It has a natural park in the area with a beach that was adjudicated America’s best beach in 2008.

There are lots of things for you and your family to do or see here. You can follow the nature trails in the mangroves or the bay; go kayaking, sunbathe on the white sand, and watch the dolphins play in the sea.
For birdwatchers, there are many beautiful shorebirds. There are lots of sea turtles to see and Gopher tortoises burrowing on the sand dunes. Others go fishing in their private boats.
Caladesi Island is a perfect place for beachcombing, snorkeling, shelling, swimming, and eating al fresco, etc. A natural beach with an uncountable number of shells, thus, shell gathering is one of the pleasurable activities that those who visit this peculiar place enjoy. The hiking trails are also breathtaking and spectacular to shadow.
Little wonder that the Caladesi Island State Park is such a place with a high number of visits every year. This State Park in Dunedin, Caladesi, Florida, had an official recorded visit of 200,000 in 2010. The Park is wheelchair-accessible. Managed by Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection, Caladesi Island grabbed another award in 2014, as rated by Travelers’ Choice, TripAdvisor.
For groups and family visits, picnic tables can be arranged near the beach, and for a fee, you can call the Park officials for picnic pavilion reservations.
Caladesi Island, Florida, in the Gulf of Mexico, is accessible only by boat, and if you are on Honeymoon Island, you can access Caladesi Island State Park by a 20-minute ferry ride.

If you are really thinking about a great place where you can feel so close to nature and away from the busy city’s razzle-dazzle, it would be nice to consider visiting this secluded, quiet island. And enjoy the superlative facilities here, while spotting wildlife here and there. Be sure to bring a good camera to capture the pleasant spots and memories on a medium that will help you remember the visit for a long time to come.
Visit Caladesi Island and see the natural Florida, serene, romantic, and casual.

I am a Florida native and have never visited Caladesi Island. Your description and pictures leave me with a feeling of peace and serenity. I have added this to my bucket list for the upcoming year! Thanks for the recommendation!
Thanks for reading and responding. Yes, Florida is natural, with many crystal-clear springs for kayaking or snorkeling and some small, historic towns off the beaten path where one can have very peaceful relaxation. On this magazine we promise you to continue writing good articles that will keep inspiring some memorable bioluminescence tours during the summer months and beyond.
